Nors Kode

Nors Kode, born in Canada of Sicilian parents, stands out in the underground melodic techno scene with his blend of hypnotic percussive loops, drum grooves, and melodic themes. His music is engaging and distinct, with dreamy synth lines, gritty bass lines, and a dynamic approach evident in his debut EP "Latitude." His nomadic childhood across Europe and America due to his father's international work significantly influenced his musical formation. These diverse experiences also inspire his curated playlist, "Melodic Days and Nights," where listeners can immerse themselves in the tracks that shape his unique sound. Starting his professional career in Los Angeles, he created music for TV, film, commercials, and video games, including tracks for 20th Century Fox and Disney and scores for Mercedes, BMW, and Amazon commercials. He also joined various live bands, exploring different styles. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Nors Kode joined Giorgia Angiuli's project "United," leading to a long collaboration with the Italian star, including 'Be My Rain' and 'Stay Curious.' His solo EP "Lu" released on Parquet Recordings in late 2021 and his 2022 EP 'For You' on Mobilee Recordings topped Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno releases charts, helping him accumulating over 2.5M Spotify streams. Now based in vibrant Barcelona, Nors Kode combines his film music experience with his passion for emotionally charged electronic beats, creating a unique sound that resonates deeply with listeners.
