Benny Harvey is the most recent project of Andy Malcolm, a Scottish musician living in Berlin. The inception of the project came from a series of bedroom demos, and it now comes to life with the debut EP Pull the Plug. Benny Harvey combines the classic hard rock style of big guitars and drums with melodic choruses, traces of which can especially be heard on the tracks Wake Me and Dead to Me. Citing influences from Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, The Doors and Mastodon, Pull the Plug offers a sonic journey into a contemporary rock landscape.
