unpolished*

unapologetic, undeniable, unpolished*. unpolished* is an all-girl rock band from Los Angeles, CA. The band formed when vocalist Mary Bugbee and guitarist Celinda Chang met by fate at a show, quickly becoming friends and bonding over a shared love and passion for music. When the opportunity to perform at a local show presented itself, they recruited drummer Jasmine Day on drums and wrote some songs, and thus unpolished* made their debut in April 2024, later adding “Santos” Stephanie De Santos on bass. Sitting somewhere in between alternative rock, punk rock, pop punk, heavy/hard rock, and grunge, unpolished* is drawing attention and turning heads in the rock scene with energetic live performances and passionate songwriting. While their debut EP release “I PLEAD INSANITY” (March 2025) asked “who the f*ck is unpolished*?”, their in-the-works concept album “FULL FRONTAL” (FULL FRONTAL: ACT I April 2026) seeks to answer. Recent tour stops outside of California include Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and your nightmares. Their end goal? World domination.
