Disco Triste is a post punk, indie rock band, comprised of Dim Bin, Thanos K, Anton Abbadia and Kopoul, and they began making music together in 2022. They met through a simple ad, but their shared love for all forms of hard music, combined with their passion for pop hooks, quickly became the glue that held the band together. A blend of post-punk, indie rock, and pop music, their work features introspective lyrics paired with extroverted melodies. Disco Triste describe their music as the melody that echoes in your ears as you walk away from a nightclub. In January 2024, they released their debut single, “Introvert”, showcasing the sarcastic, critical, and cynical tone of their songs. In February, they opened for the highly successful Marouja concert at the Temple of Athens live venue. After that they performed live shows in Athens and regional areas. By December, they had released two more singles, “Lesson No1” and “Fine,” and in 2025, they plan to release their debut LP, titled “We All Hate Each Other” - a fitting name that leaves no room for further explanation about the band’s lyrical identity.
