Giorgos Nikiforou Zervakis is a Greek singer, songwriter and musician from Crete. Raised in the Messara region, he grew up immersed in the island’s rich musical tradition, shaping a distinctive artistic identity that bridges Cretan roots with contemporary musical expression. Through songwriting, composition and performance, he combines authentic elements of Greek musical heritage with personal storytelling and modern arrangements. Known for his powerful stage presence and emotionally charged live performances, he has appeared at major venues and festivals throughout Greece and abroad. His discography includes Cheimona Fernis (2005), Mosaiko (2014), Na Statho Sta Podia Mou (2015), Kechribari kai Zafeiri – Vasilis Skoulas Sings Giorgos Nikiforou Zervakis (2016), Kritikos Orizontas (2016), Stavros Tou Notou – Live (2019), Chtizo Anemous (2022), Omerta (2025) and To Chorio Mou (2025). In 2026, he joins forces with Violeta Ikari for the release of “Rizes kai Revmata”, a collaboration that marks the beginning of their joint summer concert tour across Greece. With deep respect for tradition and a constant drive for artistic evolution, Giorgos Nikiforou Zervakis continues to create music that reflects experience, emotion and authenticity.
