Faux Naïf
Faux Naïf (fō-nä-ˈēf): spuriously or affectedly childlike; artfully simple. Featuring Mississippi Delta native Lizzie Rushing on vocals and UK transplant Rob Hamilton-Smith on guitar, Faux Naïf is an indie-soul collaboration that merges a somewhat childlike wonder of making music with hard won life experience. Touting musical and emotional influences from Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell to José González, Phoebe Bridgers, Nick Mulvey and Thom Yorke, and relishing the process of creating music with innocence and gratitude.
