WYC Quartet
An underground latin jazz artist.
WYC Quartet is a Latin Jazz ensemble from Barcelona featuring Eduard Puigrodon (piano and composer), Pablo Yupton (bass), Pablo Campos (percussion), and Marc Gómez (drums). Inspired by Afro-Cuban music, Brazilian rhythms, and contemporary Latin Jazz, the quartet has developed a distinctive musical voice where rhythm, melody, and improvisation come together naturally. Their music is rooted in interaction, spontaneity, and the dialogue between four musicians sharing the same artistic vision. Reprise features six original compositions that reflect the group's musical identity and creative approach. Influenced by artists such as Michel Camilo, Chucho Valdés, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, and Roberto Fonseca, WYC Quartet embraces the richness of the Latin Jazz tradition while forging its own musical identity.
