Hyperstellar
“Saturn has fallen into turbulent waters; from that void, only a few imaginary numbers remain, floating.” Hyperstellar is the musical project of Paris-born composer Ruben Benabou, probing the extreme states of the psyche through music. Initially establishing himself a place in the darker waves of Electronic music, Hyperstellar has always looked somewhere else. An expression focused on the edges of being, suspension, the liminal, the in-between, the ephemeral nature of the note of a piano, or the mathematical nature of an electronic sound. A versatile composer for films, brands, and installations, he joined Hans Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers Music and is frequently commissioned by leading fashion and cosmetic houses like Dior, L'Oréal Groupe, Moncler or Pucci (including a collaborative work with Naomi Campbell) for their international campaigns; as well as composing original soundtracks for films, trailers, fashion shows and art exhibitions ( La Monnaie de Paris 2017, Hôtel de Sully 2022 and PAD 2026). Since 2017, he's been involved in the experimental Daughter Produkt project with Gerald Donald, Christina Vantzou, Elena Sizova among other composers.
