Originally from São Paulo (now based in Paris), BIMBAU’s passion for music was nurtured by the rich rhythms & melodies of Brazil, leading her on a musical journey that spanned London, Miami, Lisbon & ultimately Berlin, where she embraced the vibrant club scene. Navigating through House, Brazilian electronic dance music, groovy Techno and dirty Disco, BIMBAU’s selections always carry heavy percussion patterns, and unite large crowds with powerful vocals and toplines. Her performances have graced prestigious festivals like Garbicz, Utopia, Unfamiliar, and Per Anhalter; as well as iconic clubs including Mensch Meier, Katerblau, Birgit und Bier, Weekend, Alma Paris, Omeara London, Joia Beach, Wall Miami and Sisyphus to name a few. Close friend to roscius ‘ nomadic recordings’ label, the track A TURISTA E O GRINGO (feat. BIMBAU) is a first hint to forthcoming collaborations, stay tuned: BIMBAU is currently in studio, working on her debut EP, exploring her own composition and production desires, embracing a new and unique way to express herself musically.
