Laz Lo displays his vulnerability and beliefs on the Alternative Hip Hop / R&B canvas. Raised in Paris, son of an American psychoanalyst and a Belgian philosopher, he was bathed in an engaging intellectual atmosphere. While it greatly shaped who he is, Laz Lo rather sojourns musical spheres. His rap skills and flow in both English and French, his deep singing voice tone and his picturesque lyrics make up the core of his unique artistry. Unlike the roots of Hip Hop and Rap, which are about giving a voice to the oppressed, Laz espouses Hip Hop to lyrically expose the blissful ignorance of the ruling class, who in reality owes its lifestyle to the oppressed.
