Jim Hart
Jim Hart is one of the most in demand musicians on the European jazz scene as a soloist and and as a sideman on both drums and vibes. A founder member of London’s LOOP collective and now resident in France he has released seven albums of original music, most recently with his Cloudmakers Trio and Cloudmakers Five. He is regularly touring Europe and further afield with his projects and as a member of Marius Neset's quintet and Daniel Erdmann's Velvet Revolution. He has been a guest twice with JALCO and Wynton Marsalis in London; at the Hackney Empire in 2010 and in 2018 at The Barbican Centre. Five times winner of a British Jazz award and a recipient of the Worshipful Company of musicians Bronze medal, he as regularly been nominated in the prestigious Downbeat critics poll and also received a nominated for musician of the year in UK Parlimentary jazz awards.
