New Million are an alternative rock band from Melbourne. With roots in metalcore, they’ve evolved into something fresh and exciting. Heavy music infused with pop sensibilities and engaging songwriting, delivered alongside a live show that perfectly complements their sound. Formed in 2019, New Million’s journey has seen a welcomed change. Not only in sound but in attitude and style. From their metalcore, prog, and thrash metal roots, New Million’s first EP, Royal was a staple in the band’s development. Their second EP, Blooming, marked a daring and bold departure from their origins. Songs such as “Vices” and “Health” saw great success and have become essential parts of New Million’s repertoire. Following Blooming, singles “IDOL” and “Sanctuary” propelled the band into a more accessible sound, incorporating nuances of drum and bass and emo while still maintaining their heavy roots. New Million’s live show is a celebration of the band’s evolution and growth to this day.
