Poptones is a Copenhagen-based alt-rock band, consisting of singer and bassist Mads Bertelsen, guitarist Simon Hiemstra and drummer Anders Poulsen. As childhood friends from North Jutland, the sound of Poptones is the result of a long-term friendship that has grown into a natural understanding of each other as individual musicians. This understanding constitutes a shared frame of musical references that the three members of Poptones can actively draw upon for inspiration in the songwriting process. Their second album 'Pure' was released September 2025 . The album is written and produced together with Jens Ramon (Baby In Vain, Gooms, Figurines) Their debut album, Between Darkness & Daylight, was released in November 2022 and the EP 'Hunt' was released in 2020.
