Prawit Siriwat

Prawit Siriwat is a guitarist and composer who blends jazz, folk, and improvisation with tactile, detailed guitar work. Now based in California, he performs solo and with a trio after spending ten years immersed in New York’s creative music scene. His solo acoustic EP Nature Walk showcases lyrical phrasing and rhythmic nuance, while his trio album Blueberry captures the restless energy of his New York years—ranging from electric chaos to tender, melodic moments. Both releases reflect his interest in form, feel, and the edge of structure. Prawit earned a BFA from The New School and a Master’s from NYU, where he also taught as an Adjunct Instructor. Originally from Alabama, he moved through North Carolina and Maryland during his youth, an experience that shaped his adaptive, listening-based approach to music.
