Augustin Dumay

Augustin Dumay is a highly acclaimed Belgian violinist and conductor, recognized as a legitimate heir to the Belgian royal lineage of violinists. A student of Nathan Milstein and Arthur Grumiaux, he gained international prominence after being chosen by Herbert von Karajan in 1979. Dumay regularly performs as a soloist with leading orchestras worldwide and also serves as the chief conductor of the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie.
