As a music lover, you’ve seen and heard Gus Seyffert whether you know it or not. For the past decade, he’s spent his time on the road with Sia, Norah Jones, The Black Keys, Beck, Roger Waters, & more. Between tours, Seyffert has juggled recording sessions for Adele, The Who, HAIM, Andra Day & others while honing his skills as a producer for artists such as Michael Kiwanuka, Bedouine, Beck, Dr. Dog and more. Now, after years of working behind the scenes, Seyffert takes the spotlight for himself in a series of single releases showcasing Seyffert’s songwriting prowess and ear for effortlessly catchy melodies. The first single release is “Never Listen to Me.” “‘Never Listen To Me’ comes from the place of feeling like I’m not being heard,” Gus says. “But, at some point during the writing process, I realized everyone feels this way from time to time and that not everything that is said is necessarily worthy of being heard. So maybe it’s more a suggestion to simply ‘never listen to me.’"
