Safety Trance

Safety Trance is the alias of Venezuelan-born, Barcelona-based producer and DJ Luis Garbán, also known as Cardopusher. Under the Safety Trance moniker, Garbán explores a genre-blending sound that merges reggaeton with industrial, EBM (Electronic Body Music), wave, acid, techno, and elements of witch house. This fusion creates a distinctive, edgy, and experimental club music experience. While reggaeton serves as a foundational influence, Safety Trance is not confined to a single genre. Garban describes the project as a mix of everything he enjoys, with a more pop sensibility, aiming to keep it fresh and experimental. Collaborations with artists like Arca, Dorian Electra, and Van Boom have further expanded the project's sonic palette. For instance, the track "El Alma Que Te Trajo," co-produced with Arca, exemplifies this blend of reggaeton with industrial and experimental elements.
