Omer Kaan
Omer Kaan is a London-based Turkish guitarist, composer, and storyteller who combines his musicianship with cinematic narratives, and immersive aesthetics. Omer started playing guitar as a child, heavily inspired by rock and guitar music early on. After Omer had turned 18, he started performing in Istanbul's vibrant music scene. He appeared at Türkiye's biggest rock events such as Zeytinli Rock Fest, earned industry praise with his work in Riddles in the Dark and Hello Amnesia in Istanbul and London UK. Over his career he played with many bands and industry legends such as Tony Moore (original member of Iron Maiden) and Ozan Kotra (Flort). When he moved to London in 2020, Omer co-founded the rock band Hello Amnesia, made lots of records, played packed gigs in the UK, and performed in venues including Islington Assembly Hall and Bush Hall. After the band split up Omer quickly established a new purpose of his own; to make the guitar album he always wanted. Drawing inspiration from artists like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Gary Moore, David Gilmour and many more, Omer Kaan is carving out a space where instrumental music doesn't just impress, but to also immerse, provoke, and transform his audience.
