Inti Illimani Histórico
Inti-Illimani Histórico is a Chilean musical group, created in August 2004 by Horacio Salinas (musical director), Horacio Durán (charanguista), José Seves (one of the main voices of the Inti-Illimani group for three decades), along with Jorge Ball (multi musical instrumentalist), Fernando Julio (bass, double bass) (member and guest musician of the group in different periods) and the young musicians Camilo Salinas (piano and accordion) and Danilo Donoso (various percussions). The name of this set consists of: "Inti-Illimani" (which means Sun of Illimani), The name "Historic", temporarily established by an external arbitrator, to distinguish it from another band that uses the same name, while the final name that both must assume is judicially resolved. From the work of more than 30 years of its historical members in Inti-Illimani, they compose music of Latin American folk roots, integrating diverse and varied instruments from other parts of the world in original arrangements.
