Experience Beethoven's mature piano trios performed on historical instruments at Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. Tickets on Mood.
Individually, they are among the most prominent musicians of their generation. Together, Isabelle Faust, Jean-Guihen Queyras, and Alexander Melnikov form a trio of rare intensity. Performing on historical instruments, they explore Beethoven's mature piano trios, promising a performance filled with contrast and lyrical expression. Although they do not perform under a specific group name, they have collaborated for years, creating a purposeful artistic unity that The Guardian describes as rare. This concert features a program of Beethoven's Piano Trios, highlighting the deep musical connection between these three virtuosos.
