BRISCOE

Briscoe is an American roots duo that has grown organically from backyard performances to sold-out club gigs. Bandmates Truett Heintzelman and Philip Lupton have cultivated a grassroots following by crafting a sound that references the golden era of folk, rock, and pop music. Following their debut, their record Heat of July represents the sound of a fully-formed duo expanding their horizons. Written on the road and inspired by their travels across America, these songs feature cinematic arrangements and sharp vocal harmonies. Produced by Brad Cook, the music distills the experience of the open road and the process of growing up into an evocative soundtrack.
