Briscoe is an American roots duo that has grown organically from backyard performances to sold-out club gigs. Bandmates Truett Heintzelman and Philip Lupton have cultivated a grassroots following by crafting a sound that references the golden era of folk, rock, and pop music. Following their debut, their record Heat of July represents the sound of a fully-formed duo expanding their horizons. Written on the road and inspired by their travels across America, these songs feature cinematic arrangements and sharp vocal harmonies.
