Anthony Lyons is a composer, musician and sound artist working with field recordings, analogue and digital synthesis, and a range of electronic and electroacoustic instruments, including the Buchla Music Easel. His practice explores the sculpting of timbre, texture, and spatial sound, often drawing on environmental recordings, archival materials, and emergent sonic processes. His work creates layered and immersive sound worlds that reveal subtle patterns, resonances, and interactions within sound. Central to his approach is an ongoing exploration of the relationships between sound, memory, sonority, and place. Among his other projects are Au Revoir Hands and AntPaul Projects.
