Jeune Senior Weekend

C'est autour d'une table, tard dans la nuit que Jeune Senior Weekend va naître : l'idée est simple, retrouver le plaisir de jouer entre amis et l'électricité de la scène. Du côté du son, ce sera une pop fougueuse où se mêleront l'obsession de certains pour le groupe LCD Soundsystem (boîte à rythme et synthés), l'urgence froide de Joy Division et le son saturé des Pixies. Le groupe est au complet à la fin de l'été 2022 et entame une première saison de concerts (El Mediator / Perpignan , Festival Voix de Femme, Festival Festa Majorque...) Un album est enregistré fin 2024 et paraîtra en Septembre 2025. Jeune Senior Weekend was crafted with the will to return on stage and have fun playing with friends again. As for the sound, it would be a kind of fiery pop music mixing the obsession for the band LCD Soundsystem, the urgent cold wave of Joy Division and the saturated sound of the Pixies. By the end of 2022 the band is set up and a first series of gigs are played in 2023 (various festivals in the south of France) This year, Jeune Senior Weekend recorded their first EP, made their first video and played energetic gigs in the south of France. A first LP was recorded by the end of 2024 and is gonna be out on Sept 2025
