Formed in Paris in 1988, Malka Family is a legendary figure of French funk, known for their explosive energy and unforgettable live performances. With a dozen musicians and vocalists on board, the band carved out a unique sound blending funk, groove, and a dose of that unmistakable French eccentricity. A true musical UFO, Malka Family is funk in Technicolor, a live experience packed with joy, rhythm, and collective euphoria. Their debut album Malka On The Beach dropped in 1991, laying the foundation of their raw, danceable, and wildly communal funk identity.
