For over ten years, the Jazz & Lyrics series of the Deutsche Oper Berlin Big Band has stood for unique musical encounters in an intimate setting at the Tischlerei. Each concert combines jazz with lyrics, poetry, or biographical insights into significant composers and jazz legends. The series is curated and presented by Big Band members Rüdiger Ruppert, Sebastian Krol, and Guntram Halder. Following the performance, guests have the opportunity to meet the artists in the Artists' Lounge.
