Trumpeter and flugelhornist Līva Strazdiņa brings a unique Latvian soul to the jazz tradition, performing expressive sets alongside saxophonist Simona Turk. Turk offers a powerful and versatile sound that draws on the rich history of the genre while maintaining a sense of musical surprise. The evening also features world premieres by Hendrik Nehls, whose new compositions blend jazz-swing with a touch of humor, exploring diverse themes from Portuguese pastries to television series.
