Kishi Bashi
American indie pop singer, songwriter, and producer Kishi Bashi (born Kaoru Ishibashi) performs live. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Ishibashi is a classically trained violinist who toured with Regina Spektor, Sondre Lerche, and Of Montreal before starting his solo career in 2011. He is also a founding member of the New York-based synth pop band Jupiter One. His solo debut album, 151a, earned him critical acclaim and recognition from NPR's All Songs Considered.
