Multibeat takes over V11 to celebrate the release of their new album OOO. Their sound is a fluid blend of future jazz that breathes like hip-hop, featuring beats with a J Dilla-esque swing and the raw edges of the UK scene. The Rotterdam-based trio, consisting of Boudewijn Pleij (keys), Thijs van Zutphen (bass), and Aron Smit (drums), is known for live sets that are strak yet flexible. After collaborations with artists like Pete Philly and Joya Mooi, their first release on Sonar Kollektiv marks a rawer and more underground evolution of their sound.
