The renowned ensemble performs Beethoven's Op. 18 No. 6 and Op. 132 to conclude their series at the historic Wigmore Hall. Lineup on Mood.
Quatuor Ébène concludes its exploration of Ludwig van Beethoven’s string quartet cycle. This performance pairs the forward-looking Op. 18 No. 6 with the intensity of the String Quartet in A minor, Op. 132. The latter work, known for its confessional intimacy, explores existential themes and serves as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. This concert follows the ensemble's launch of their Beethoven series at Wigmore Hall last season.
