As part of the Contemporary Music Days festival at the Greek National Opera, piano duo P 4 2 (Beata Pincetic and Christos Sakellaridis) commemorates the 20th anniversary of György Ligeti's death. The programme explores Ligeti's intricate soundscapes through works for one and two pianos, where organic complexity and shifting motifs create a labyrinthine musical language. The performance also features the debut of Fractus Impetus by Vasiliki Legaki, a new commission for piano duo and electronics that draws inspiration from Ligeti’s fractal-like structures.
