#Nobodycares Saw this at Slamdance Fest in LA. Highly enjoyed this really well crafted seventy minute feature that does get a little long at the back end but finished strong. Would highly recommend if you’re a fan of After Hours or Sean Baker films. Real props to Max and crew for tackling such a tough subject with that “I welcome everyone. It’s a circus” attitude to story and humanizing anyone even sex offenders and pedophiles… You are forced to spend time with Ten and feel how ridiculous and impossible it is for him to get his life back together, and you almost feel bad for him a feel times… I certainly thought about my troubled relationship with Los Angeles and how alienated I’ve often felt from the people here… and Max and co are making this story with a very well established visual and comedic aesthetic that’s sustained the whole time. Love to see a situation where you can tell the team were fully in sync because the filmmaking just seems really well conceived. You can’t help laughing and also being horrified, especially with that ending. Really well casted too with Mikuls Robbin’s as Ten and all the real people, some of whom Max tells us he hired off the street.Going to leave this review minimal on the spoilers just so more people can go and see it for themselves.
