ACIDFEST is a travelling psychedelic festival curated by Thee Lucifer Sams from Liverpool. This London edition at The Victoria Dalston features a diverse lineup of psych, post-punk, and shoegaze artists. Thee Lucifer Sams lead the event with their semi-improvised psychedelic noise, avoiding social media and streaming platforms to maintain a grassroots experience. The event aims to create a unique cultural happening outside of the mainstream, welcoming all to join the society and participate in their own roadshow. The lineup includes London's trans-led post-punk band The Dead Zoo, shoegaze project Madonovan, and the unique melodic sounds of Esa Shields. They are joined by EMU (Experimental Music Unity), a funky dance dubhop group often found performing in Goa, and a DJ set by Brighton's Echoes of the City. This is more than just a gig; it is an immersive experience featuring live visuals and a sonic rollercoaster atmosphere.
