Legendary Irish folk music band Dervish, one of Ireland's best known traditional bands, have been described by the BBC as “an icon of Irish music”. After over 30 years of recording and performing globally at major festivals from Rio to Glastonbury, the band received a prestigious lifetime achievement award from the BBC in 2019. Fronted by the distinctive voice of Cathy Jordan, the group features some of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians. Their instrumental line-up includes fiddle, flute, bouzouki, mandola, bodhran, and accordion, creating vibrant sets of tunes and compelling songs with fiery energy and technical finesse.
