Formed in 2001, the pair consists of Josh Gabriel, who studied music composition, and Dave Dresden, who brought 15 years of DJ experience to the collaboration. The duo quickly made a name for themselves with several hit remixes and singles, achieving multiple number one hits on the Billboard Dance Charts. After a brief hiatus starting in 2008, they reconvened in 2011 and have continued to be a major force in the electronic music scene. Known for their extensive live sets and high-energy performances, they have drawn massive crowds at major festivals such as Electric Zoo and Tomorrowland. They remain prolific in releasing new music and are considered one of the top acts in electronica.
