An underground, homegrown free jazz night.
Award-winning saxophonist and composer James Brandon Lewis, a Jazz Generations Initiative (JGI) Continuum Fellow, presents a residency at Roulette as part of his 2026 fellowship. This performance brings together a multi-generational group of improvisers, poets, and musicians. The evening features a full ensemble set by James Brandon Lewis, alongside duo performances featuring Abiodun Oyewole with Taylor Pace, Oliver Lake with Josh Werner, and Tuesday Taylor with Melanie Dyer. The residency focuses on creative exchange across different artistic disciplines and media.
