An open-air, high-energy rock night.
NYC's friendly neighborhood guitar battle returns to the stage after a painfully long hiatus. Shred For Your Life is a live music event and guitar shredding contest that puts guitarists to the ultimate test. Six hand-picked contestants compete in a live guitar battle format on Union Pool's back deck until one is crowned champion. Hosted by Dave Hill, with an all-star rhythm section featuring John Stanier on drums and Brad Truax on bass. The special guest judge panel features Matt Sweeney, Walter Schreifels, and Joan Wasser.
