With a career spanning over two decades, Duff remains a beloved and influential figure in both pop music and entertainment. La Roux burst onto the scene in 2009 with her Grammy-winning self-titled debut album and era-defining hits “In for the Kill” and “Bulletproof”. La Roux not only put synth-pop on the map with this album, but redefined pop music in the late 2000s, paving the way for other synth-pop artists to reach the mainstream. Her 2014 album Trouble in Paradise and 2020’s Supervision explored sounds that spanned genres.
