HARDWARE SERIES 01005 --- TAYLOR SAVAGE Born and raised in Athens, carving out his sound as a DJ in the city’s bars and late-night parties. In his live sets, he tears through scratched, skipping CDs, twisting them with effects and no-input techniques into a raw collage of cut-up noise. --- KHMER Engineer and DJ based in Athens, playing mostly UK styles. --- PALAIS ALZHEIMER Electronic producer and DJ. He plays heavy distorted beats of electro with a Detroit-ish backbone. --- DAMAGE PER SECOND Electronic dance music improvising on drum machines samplers and synths, a combination of distorted heavy grooves and textures. Aiming a different sound than traditional DJing through the use of hardware, the spontaneity of their sets are rewarding to the people who are willing to engage in the experiment, with some of them saing that it was one of the best sets they witnessed.
