Skullcrusher et son univers folk vibrant revient à Paris, le 12 juin 2026 au Supersonic Records. And Your Song is Like a Circle, le deuxième album de l'artiste new-yorkaise Skullcrusher, alias Helen Ballentine, se fraye un chemin vers un cœur instable et en constante évolution. Enregistré au fil des années qui ont suivi la sortie de son premier album acclamé, “Quiet the Room”, en 2022, “And Your Song is Like a Circle” ne retranscrit pas une expérience, mais fait plutôt référence à l'empreinte d'un moment qui ne peut être capturé. Oscillant entre folk vaporeux et électronique cristalline, se posant quelque part dans les champs enneigés partagés par Grouper et Julia Holter, Circle explore les façons dont le chagrin se retourne contre lui-même. La perte elle-même devient aussi réelle et substantielle que ce qui a été perdu.
