Ξεκινώντας από τους δρόμους του Brooklyn, το συγκρότημα δημιούργησε ένα χαρακτηριστικό ηχόχρωμα που συνδυάζει indie rock, latin folk, blues και world music με μια κινηματογραφική αισθητική.
