An underground sufi night.
Mayrig (mother in Armenian) is an immersive 60-minute musical exploration created by Karen Ouzounian and Lembit Beecher. Centered on the human voice, the performance blends cello, electronics, piano, and vocals, intertwining family heritage, Armenian music from Anatolia, and post-genocide Lebanese-Armenian songs with works by contemporary composers and classic arrangements.
