Set in 1929 Berlin on the eve of the Nazi rise to power, this Broadway musical tells the story of American writer Clifford Bradshaw and his romance with Kit Kat Klub performer Sally Bowles. John Kander's classic work explores the struggle to preserve freedom, art, and love amidst escalating political turmoil.
