A nostalgic, underground jazz night.
Ewan Bleach is a clarinetist, saxophonist, pianist, and singer who specializes in jazz and blues from the 1920s and 30s. He performs a vast repertoire of vintage songs, ranging from the raw blues of the 20s to the lush ballads of the early 40s, featuring works by artists like Billie Holiday, Al Bowlly, and Bessie Smith. Based in London, Bleach has collaborated with several jazz ensembles and frequently visits New Orleans for musical inspiration. In this performance, he is joined by the Fleeting Paradise Orchestra to bring the sounds of early jazz and blues to the Jamboree stage.
