The Mizik Ayiti! Residency Series at Haiti Cultural Exchange features Brooklyn-based Haitian American drummer and bandleader Gashford Guillaume leading a rotating ensemble of guest musicians. Across five Thursday sessions, Guillaume merges traditional Haitian rhythms with jazz, soul, R&B, and world music elements, presenting workshopped arrangements and collaborative performances.
