Nuevos Ríos combines afro-Colombian traditions with futuristic Global Bass. Originating from the Colombian Pacific coast, the project blends traditional rhythms, marimba, and powerful percussion with electronic sounds to create a deep, danceable energy. This performance brings together Canalón de Timbiquí, featuring the powerful voice of Maestra Nidia Góngora, and the Toulouse-based collective Reco Reco. Their collaboration stems from shared musical roots and mutual curiosity, resulting in a sound that celebrates community and resilience. Part of the DURCHLÜFTEN festival, this ZZK Label night explores the intersection of Latin American tradition, innovation, and the dancefloor.
