A raw vocal jazz night.
Amy Gadiaga is a bassist, vocalist, and composer originally from the suburbs of Paris and currently based in London. Following a sold-out concert last year and the release of her new EP 'BabyGoated', she returns to Jassmine for another performance. She is a graduate of the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studied double bass and won numerous accolades, including the Royal Philharmonic Society Award. This year, she was also nominated for Jazz Newcomer of the Year by the Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Blending the traditions of old-school jazz, as represented by artists such as Betty Carter and Wayne Shorter, with her own contemporary style, Amy performs to celebrate art and freedom.
