Berlin based record label & collective Anima Sola arrives at Astron with special guest Shokh for his Greek debut. Accompanied by label heads and friends Aura Nox, Milan Hermess & Extase Urbaine. _ SHOKH (Omnidisc, DE) After an extended hiatus from performing, DJ and producer Shokh emerged from Germany's Black Forest where he spent the previous years tinkering with funky circuitry like a mad scientist, further developing his own particular design of murky and hypnotic club music. Shokh's music takes you on a ride through the enigmatic realms of the underground where tension and contrast are his forte. Strange places, surrounded by shadows and pulsating basslines, driven forward with invigorating percussion, engulfed by ethereal chords; the work of an electronic alchemist at his finest. Shokh has performed around the globe and held residencies at Berlin institutions Tresor, Griessmuehle and Renate. He has released on labels such as Omnidisc, Kompakt & Brokntoys and self-released his album ‘Flowers Dope’ back in 2023, next to launching his own Shokhers imprint through Clone this year. — AURA NOX (Mechatronica, USA) A fresh, yet eminent presence in underground club spaces worldwide, Aura Nox originates from the “south’s electro capital” of Dallas, Texas. As a fervent digger with a classical background, Aura is a vinyl DJ first and foremost, with precise selections that infuse a unique style of twisted electro, psychedelic horror, and dreamy techno atmospheres which captivate any crowd. — MILAN HERMESS (Mechatronica, NL) Milan Hermess is a Berlin-based DJ and promoter who co-runs the ever evolving Mechatronica and is founder of Fan Fiction, a club night and DJ cafe in the Berlin Friedrichshain area. Heavily influenced by the West Coast Sound of Holland and Berlin’s nightlife culture, his mixes cover a broad spectrum within alternative dance music. Eclectic, yet thoroughly selective, his sets are layered experiences bridging the gap between electro, deep techno, acid and breakbeat. He’s an expert at taking you from deep Waters to high-octane intensity; playful yet dramatic, hypnotic yet euphoric.
