Our Public House
A homegrown pop night.
Our Public House is a funny, big-hearted play with live music about togetherness and what could change if everyone had their say. When an entire community spoils their ballots and refuses to vote, a local pub on the brink of closure becomes the only place left to talk - and sing. As a storm rages outside, landlady Sanjana, a family in mourning, familiar regulars and some unexpected guests are thrown together for one long night. In a town ripped apart by politics and a love affair, secrets start to spill. Inspired by the real words of over 600 people nationwide, the production transforms these words into original live music, filling the room with debate, warmth and laughter.
