Fondé en 2006, le projet s’est imposé comme l’une des propositions les plus radicales de la musique expérimentale actuelle. Issue de l’underground new-yorkais, Margaret Chardiet développe une approche physique du son, mêlant noise, industrial et punk. Sur scène, elle transforme la matière électronique et sa voix en expérience sensorielle intense. En 2024, elle revient avec l'album Maggot Mass, confirmant sa capacité à réinventer constamment son langage sonore.
